We’ve been there on the other side of the camera, and we know what it’s like to go through the array of emotions on your wedding day. Anxious but excited jitters when getting dressed, that feeling of seeing your soon-to-be-spouse for the first time all dressed in a way you’d never seen before, thoughts that maybe you’ll be nervous about walking down the aisle and confessing your undying love in front of all your closest family and friends but then feeling relieved after seeing your person and knowing nothing else matters but the fact that you’re about to start the rest of your lives together…we get it!

We often have guests compliment our patience and helpfulness during weddings. It's heartwarming to hear these stories that show our genuine desire to connect with your loved ones and ensure a wonderful experience. We treat your family like our own and are always willing to capture precious guest moments!

WE ARE EXPERIENCE FIRST.

What does that mean? Contrary to what you’d think photographers/videographers should be, we do not put photo time first. We do not hold our couples “hostage” to get “just a few more” if we can clearly see that you’re over it and want to maybe go join cocktail hour. On the other hand, if you’re just as excited about more time to take photos, so are we! We do not shoot for our portfolios or to post cool work on Instagram.

We shoot for you, with your final gallery in mind.

We also believe in ourselves enough to know that we can capture magic on tight timelines, less than ideal lighting situations, and whatever chaos a wedding day might throw at us. Believe it or not, your wedding photographers have a lot of control over the events of your day than you realize, and we understand that all the planning in the world can’t prepare you for the randomest day of situations. We are adaptable, able to play things by ear, and adjust even if you change your mind on certain timeline events on the day of. So when you say something like, I know we have bridal party photos before the ceremony but we’re running behind on hair and makeup, we say, no worries! We can take them after the ceremony. When you say, we’d rather have more time to mingle with the family and friends that flew long distances to come see us than take sunset photos, we say we want that for you, we got some great photos already, go have fun!

WE WANT YOU TO REMEMBER HOW YOU FELT.

This is our preferred, default approach, but rest assured that means we STILL take great strides to ensure the best possible photos! We like to think of ourselves as a mix between documentary and posed, we still give direction and guidance and our professional advice throughout the day for what makes for “better” photos but are not adamant or pushy. We like to capture the day as it naturally unfolds and use keen discretion to know when to insert ourselves into a situation. We prefer to work with couples that feel the same and aren’t looking for photographers that “stage” the day, because your wedding day shouldn’t be an act. We love working with couples that agree that the day is about love, love and more love.

  • the vibes, the vibes, the vibes

    Every client is different. Every wedding is different. If you’re more on the reserved side and your wedding will be as well, consider me a fly on the wall. “I didn’t even see you take that!” will be what you find yourself saying.

    The vibes is another way to describe the narrative of your day. I don’t want to just manufacture pretty pictures, I want you to be able look at your gallery with a fond appreciation and nostalgia for the day you’ve so intentionally put together. You’ll get the standard images on how it all looked, but the ultimate goal is to deliver images that reminds you how it felt.

  • your comfort at all times

    As a self-proclaimed professional people pleaser, your comfort level is first and foremost my priority at all times. We will occasionally gauge and do temperature checks throughout the course of our session or the day to make sure you are ok with certain poses or direction, if we want to continue with portraits or if you’d rather go enjoy cocktail hour, whether or not you’re feeling the things we’re doing or want to switch it up. It is your day, your time. Don’t want to do something? We don’t have to. Wanna try something you saw on Pinterest? Hell yeah, let’s do it!

  • both posed and candid shots

    One of my favorite parts of shooting is giving creative direction (it’s the art director in me) so I am well versed in posing my couples and subjects. When we meet, I’ll get a sense of whether or not you will need me to help you with posing or if you’d rather I just stand back and let your love unfold naturally. A lot of my poses and prompts are also designed to ultimately lead to authentic reactions and expressions, so that nothing’s feeling too forced or cheesy. The camera will always find a way to pick up on true love and sheer joy, so rest assured that the photos will turn out great no matter what!
