EDITING STYLE
The way colors work in my world, they should be enhanced, not muted or desaturated. You’ll find greenery in my work to be full, lush and alive. Black blacks, white whites. I call it “Moody + Bright” because I love the cinematic nature the moodier end of the editing style spectrum creates, but I also believe people and subjects especially shouldn’t be drowned out and faded into the background. You’ll find in my editing style that I love jewel tones (deep, saturated colors and contrast).
Some locations and venues naturally lean more moody or bright, I try to honor the integrity of each space and various skin tones when editing. I don’t believe there’s a one-size preset that should be applied to every photo for portfolio consistency. Every gallery is edited to fit the couple, the venue, and overall vibe of the day!
